It is time to start talking

So much can be gained from communication. It does not have to the neighbor or a close friend. It could be the person you meet in the doctor's waiting room, or the doctor himself. Today I went to my local supermarket and met a lady. The conversation was like this. I went to the book stand and saw a lady, she and I was staring at the shelf and I said to her; I wonder if we are looking for the same thing?
She said, "I don't know because I am not really looking for anything" I laughed and told her I was looking for books on photography.
The conversation changed and we began to talk about guns and the love or hate of it. I got to find she is a teacher and that she has teenage children and she reads romance novels. One does not have to be an extrovert to get to know and talk to or with people. Sometime all that needs to be done is to say hello and the rest will take care of itself. Do not always try to rely on how you feel, because that is all we sometimes need. Take the time a little and have a talk, maybe you need it more than those you talk to.

Oh the problems

Imagine if you will a life without problems. What difference would your life be. Sometimes, if we think back, a lot of the problems and trials we have in our lives taught us how to deal with future problems, they help us to be patient, pray more and  to be more courteous.

Many a people I spoke to told me they are thankful of the things that happen to them in the past. See, without some of the trials and problems we have in life, there would not be a lot of these inventions, movements, or entrepreneurs. Many of the great people of the past and those we look up to nowadays will tell you they had and are still having trials and problems. The difference is how they deal with them. So, the next time problems comes, take thee time to see what positive can come out of it because who knows if that trial does not have some hidden blessing in it, we just need to dig deep.

You are better than that.

Sometimes we live day to day in a haze. That need not be, because if we really sit for a while and listen, think and look, we would will realize that we are meant to be better people, stronger people, people of hope, dream and courage. At present we are slaves to our surroundings. Let us pause and take a break. Open our eyes and see we are meant for better. So go with some courage knowing you are a unique and wonderful person. You are created for greatness.
