Would you allow the past to ruin the now?

Never allow a problem to stop you from achieving your goal. I know at times you  feel like to just  forget it, to just move with the flow. Have you have look back and is thankful for what you have been through? Yes, I know I am not the only one that felt that way. I am sure we sometimes share the walk in each other shoes some way or another
.


 I remember when I just came to the States and couldn't find a job. I do not  remember how it happen but I got to go to deconstruction with some guys from a large moving company here in Atlanta. I was very happy to finally have something to do. See, I went with them for about a week or two and when it was time to get pay the were nowhere to be found. All the time before, I usually called but during the pay period, it seem they had no phone. It causes me to feel really bad because it was my first experience here. I still have the shirt they gave me and every time I put it on I remember the hard work we did taking down those shelves.
I can allow that to fuel my anger but I will not, I think what people do in there life to other people, good or bad, it will be re-payed to them.

To step back in my life some, I remember when I was 18 years old and I rented an apartment with a really good friend of mine. We rented a two bedroom and split the payments. She later told me she had to leave the country, but before, she left, she also told me of a friend that she had and that she will allow him to take over her room.  Later I found out he was in some gang and one day there was a kerfuffle at the house and guns were drawn. Now, I did not know how to take care of such matter so I made a deal with the landlord because the guys would not leave.

I told the old man that I would move my few things and made it seem as if I left so he would  boot the other guy thereby getting rid of the situation.  Unfortunately the landlord had other plans.  Eventually he got the guy out but did not inform me or allowed me back. That was a very hard time in my life because I had to stay here and there until I could find someplace else and all of that for helping someone.

Never ever feel that your efforts are in vain to the point you give up. I also know there are times that you will almost turn your back and many have and come back. We make mistakes, stumble, and messed up at times, but if we keep on going, we will be sure to reach our goal and will be happy for the experiences.
